What is a Direct Acting Solenoid Valve?
A Direct Acting Solenoid Valve is a solenoid valve in which the spool is actuated directly by a solenoid coil. It is not dependent on system pressure. The spool is able to open or close at zero pressure, making it particularly suitable for fluid control in low flow, low pressure, or vacuum environments.
Working Principle of Direct-Acting Solenoid Valve
The working principle of direct-acting solenoid valve is relatively simple. When energized, the solenoid coil generates electromagnetic force, directly suction spool, so that the spool is shifted. And in the event of power failure, the electromagnetic force disappears, the valve spool by spring reset to restore the original state.
