Motorized butterfly valve is a kind of valve with electric actuator installed on top of the butterfly valve, using the round butterfly plate as the opening and closing member and rotating with the valve stem to open, close and adjust the fluid passage. Butterfly valve has simple structure, small volume, light weight, save material, easy installation, flexible operation. It has small driving force, easy to use, good flow control and sealing performance. The butterfly valve is the main valve choice in large and medium caliber, low and medium pressure.
Principle of motorized butterfly valve
The working principle of motorized butterfly valve is to utilize electric energy as the power source. Connected by adjusting the electric actuator and valve stem, the motorized butterfly valve utilizes the electric sealing parts to drive the valve plate of the hard seal butterfly valve to carry out a rotary movement from 0 to 90 degrees. It receives 4 to 20 mA signal sent by the industrial automation control system to precisely control the opening of the valve, realizing the adjustment and control of different process parameters such as flow, temperature and pressure.

- Control the flow and pressure of fluid medium, by adjusting the valve opening to regulate the flow and pressure of the medium.
