Structure of gate valve

Working principle of gate valve
Gate valves work by inserting a physical barrier (gate or disk) into the pipeline that seals when closed and raises or lowers it when open. The barrier is raised and lowered by means of a handwheel on the bonnet, which acts as a valve actuator. It turns clockwise and counterclockwise to start or stop the flow of liquid as required.
Gate valve features
- Small fluid resistance. - Bidirectional flow.
